Back in Creativityville...

I got so bored these last days...so I HAD to get back to doing something creative. I remembered this fluffy mohair yarn that I had bought last spring. I didn´t get enough yarn (miscalculated somehow) to make the cardigan I had intended to knit, so now I decided to knit a scarf instead. So far, I enjoyed it very much! Hopefully, this will get me back into creativity mood again!

Winter Magic!

I woke up this morning to a winter wonderland. Everything was magically covered in snow and thick white snowflakes were dancing in front of our bedroom window! Now, the beautiful snow already starts to melt again... oh, well. At least I was blessed with a visit from at least fifteen chirping rose-ringed parakeets (I recently found out their English names!) Right now, only one of the parakeets is still sitting in the tree, along with a few finches and sparrows and a plump turkish dove. Pure magic! I could sit all day here at the window, watching these little critters!

Dear Illustration Friday Visitors...

...I feel very happy about the fact that my topic was chosen for Illustration Friday! Unfortunately this came at a time where I am not able to contribute anything of my own, as I do not feel so very well right now. Nothing to worry about though. I´m sorry and hope you don´t feel let down!

Studio Friday: Where the Wild Things Are

There is a new creature living in our apartment. This little mouse is visiting me now everyday and is fooling around all the time! No wonder I don´t get around to painting and drawing when this little mischiefmaker is keeping me busy... She loves to hide my tools and collects all kinds of supplies. I need to watch out for her all the time!!! Of course, I love her anyway.
