More Sunflowers

I worked on my bouquet of flowers again today. I´m not sure about adding details to the petals of the sunflowers. I don´t want to overdo anything. But then again, I think they still look too flat and plain against the violet flowers. And please wish me luck on painting that vase!

I am sure you will paint the vase just as beautifully as you painted the flowers. Trust yourself! : ) xxx

Holy cow! Once again it just blows me away, it is sooo STUNNING! I wouldn't change a thing I don't think. It is just perfect! Maybe you could add a little character in another way through a little something next to the vase or so. A lose ribbon tied around the vase out of Raffia/Bast or so?
I am sure the vase will turn out great. Keep the simplicity and purity so it doesn't distract from the flowers maybe?

Eloqui: I´m trying! And thanks for your lovely comment!!

Tine: Thanks for your feedback! So I think I will not add any details to the petals of the sunflowers. I´ll just try that next time, when I do another bouquet. And I think I´ll really try painting the vase on another piece of paper first...

Neelambari: Thanks! I visited your blog, too, and I´m in awe of the pictures you paint! Beautiful!

Isay: Thanks for your feedback, too! I´m glad it doesn´t look flat to you! I have no distance to my own pictures at first, so sometimes it´s hard to see what needs to be done.

Monica: I´m glad my comment could cheer you up! Hope everything is fine again! And thanks for your compliment on my flowers! :-)
