One of my favorite botanical painters is Marjolein Bastin. And this is her new and improved site! Check it out!

Yes, there is such a thing as being too sweet ;-) Anyway, what was I saying... although it's not really my style I like her work. I love the way how she draws cats and birds!

At 5:31 PM, Anonymous said...: Oooh, sooo beautiful! I like her so much! I gave my mom a calnedar of hers about well 10 years ago and then in between forgot all about Marjolein. Now when I came to Canada here she is at Hallmark with products of all her illustrations, that just blew my mind away!! Amazing what one can do. I guess she had a really good agent ;-)
