So, here I am working away on another scarf. Just in time, because the weather got colder again and everything is covered in snow. My little friends, the green parakeets, are here again, sitting in the sugared chestnut tree outside my window, waiting for my neighbor to feed them. Such cute company!

Where did you get the pattern from? I'd love to make one, looks pretty funky! Please let me know! Thanks
Haha, you did it! So fun! Your's is not as thick as mine yet (I used dubble yarn) - but beautiful, love the colours of your yarns!
Congrats!
WOW! I love your little parrots in the trees so much!! They are such funny little characters and so exotic! Your baby will have quite some birds to watch, that is for sure!
I hope they will all deal well with the terrible cold snap that Europe finds itself in. How awful.
that scarf is so funky! You are so talented Bea!!!
Coops: I don´t really have a pattern. Hanna´s scarf inspired me and she told me how to make it, but I varied it a bit. Basically, you make a chain as long as the scarf is supposed to be. Then you make one row of half-double (or double) crochets. In every following row you use double crochets (or put even one more loop over the hook) and double the stitches. Eventually you´ll have a long ruffle.
Hanna: Thanks! And yes, I didnt make it as thick as I don´t like working with two strands of yarn, and I didn´t get any thick yarn in a color that I would have liked. But I think I will make another, thicker one some day, because my scarf will probably not be as warm as yours. Plus, I like the thickness of yours so much!
Tine: Yes, my baby will always have the green birdies taking a peek through the nursery window! Funny, I had the same thought today! And thanks for the compliment :o)
Hi Bea, I really like your scarf! It's very trendy. The colour's beautiful! Wish I had your skill.
can't wait for the finished product! i hope your baby can hear the chirping of the birds!
Thank you, Leslie!
And Isay, thank you, too! I guess my baby will start to hear these days!
