Update

After a few mild and sunny days, the weather got colder again and the sky turned gray. Perfect for sitting inside and crafting away you may think... but I hardly get around to do anything really. There are so many other things to do, like planning our wedding and vacation, visiting friends, buying stuff to make our appartment more family-friendly, doctor´s appointments, finding a midwife... and of course all the daily chores plus a lot of ironing waiting for me... On top of that, I still lack my usual energy and feel sick from time to time. But apart from that, everything is going well. I can finally feel my baby kicking inside of me which is just magical! No more ultrasounds needed to help me believe there is really someone growing inside of me! A very lively someone!

Another Scarf for a Freezing Bea

So, here I am working away on another scarf. Just in time, because the weather got colder again and everything is covered in snow. My little friends, the green parakeets, are here again, sitting in the sugared chestnut tree outside my window, waiting for my neighbor to feed them. Such cute company!

First Baby Project!

My scarf is finished and I went out today and got some more wool! This is going to be so much fun! I want to knit the baby blanket which is on the cover of this great book, only I´m going to use the green wool instead of the rose or baby blue one. The pink wool is not intended for the blanket, but for a scarf similar to Hanna´s beautiful one. She has been so kind to tell me how to go about. I hope I´ll get it right!
I´m filled with energy now that I don´t feel so nauseous anymore. Okay, it didn´t disappear yet, but at least it got way better since last friday. Also, my appetite is coming back, which I really missed! My belly is growing, too, but it doesn´t show so much yet beneath my thick winter sweaters. It´s cold here.
